Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrated their first Ganesh Chaturthi last evening as a married couple. For the auspicious occasion, the couple celebrated the festival at Salman Khan’s residence. They were joined by Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Agnihotri, Arbaaz Khan, Arhaan Khan, and Sohail Khan along with his kids Nirvan and Yohan Khan. The couple stole the evening with their matching outfits which has become the talk of the town.
Sonakshi Sinha was spotted in a teal blue traditional anarkali suit. The suit featured silver zardozi and intricate hand embroidery. With full sleeves, the anarkali kurta had a modern slit at the waist. The fitted upper bodice had a V-neckline and it perfectly accentuated her curves. She paired the kurta with a matching lehenga. She finished off this Ridhi Mehra look with a matching net dupatta that had a detailed silver embroidery border.
Sinha was styled by her sister-in-law, Sanam Ratansi. For her accessories, she opted for a pair of oxidized silver jhumkas with a blue acrylic painted design, her solitaire ring, and an ivory potli bag. She aced the makeup with a bronzed look, defined brows, brown eyeshadow, kohl-rimmed eyes, dramatic lashes, blush, bindi, and nude brown lipstick. She let her hair loose in waves.
The actor was perfectly complemented by Zaheer Iqbal who opted for a breezy ombre white and blue kurta pyjama set. The look featured a straight-fit kurta and matching pajamas. He finished off the look with a sleeveless waistcoat set which gave the outfit a well-fitted look.
Sinha shared glimpses from her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on her Instagram. The video showed her performing the aarti with her husband. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Love grows in respect when a couple honors each other’s beliefs in true harmony…Our first Ganpati after shaadi.”
