Actress Saadia Imam has revealed a surprising story from her wedding, sharing how her bridal gown was accidentally burned during its preparation.

Speaking on a morning show, Imam explained that she used to run a boutique, and her wedding dress was being crafted when a short circuit caused a fire, burning down the entire factory along with her gown.

“I was devastated because the dress was in my mother’s favourite colour,” Imam shared.

She further explained that she had previously created a similar dress for one of her customers, who generously offered it to her. 

She told me I could wear her dress since her wedding was after mine,” Imam said, expressing her gratitude.

The actress wore the customer’s gown for her wedding and later made another dress for her, mirroring the original. Imam’s touching story highlights kindness and generosity during difficult times.
