According to Uday Tithi, the festival of Radha Ashtami will be celebrated on September 11.
Married women usually fast on this day for progeny and good fortune. It is believed that fasting on Radha Ashtami erases sins and brings happiness and prosperity. Fasting on this day also welcomes Goddess Lakshmi into the home, fulfilling everyone’s wishes.
