- Request the operator to register you as an NRI.
- As an NRI applicant, you’ll need to submit a declaration along with the Aadhaar application. Carefully review and complete this declaration as it is slightly different for NRIs.
- Assist the operator in entering all necessary NRI-specific information.
- The operator will scan your passport to use as identification for the application.
- Proceed with the biometric capture, which includes fingerprint and iris scans.

After completing the application process, obtain the acknowledgment receipt, which contains your 14-digit enrollment ID along with the date and time stamp.
Your Aadhaar document will be processed within 3 to 4 days, although generating the card itself may take a bit longer. It’s important to regularly check the status of your Aadhaar card application.
If you misplace your 14-digit enrollment ID, you can retrieve it using your registered mobile number. The website also offers an option to recover your enrollment ID details.
