After many months of rumours about trouble in Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and model-actress Natasa Stankovic‘s marriage, the duo announced on July 18 that they have mutually parted ways. Both Hardik and Natasa took to their social media accounts to share the news with their followers. Natasa was born on March 4, 1992, in Požarevac, Republic of Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia to Goran Stanković (her father) and Radmila Stanković (her mother). Natasa also has a younger brother named Nenad Stanković who is a professional photographer in Toronto, as per reports. While not much is known about Natasa’s family, she often posts about them on social media. And it seems, she is quite close to her parents– Goran and Radmila Stanković.

It is noted that Hardik and Natasa first met at a Mumbai nightclub in 2018 and soon started dating. Roughly two years later, Hardik proposed to Natasa and in May 2020 they got married in an intimate wedding. In July 2020, the former couple welcomed their son Agastya. But, interestingly, it was only two years after their wedding when Hardik Pandya finally met Natasa’s parents for the first time in person! This was shared by both Hardik and Natasa on social media back then. The reason: Hardik and Natasa got married during the COVID-19 pandemic, and so the duo could travel and meet Natasa’s family only post-pandemic back then.

It was attended by both their families and close friends, who couldn’t initially during the pandemic. Natasa, who earlier attended cricket matches to support Hardik, was absent throughout IPL 2024 and T20 World Cup 2024; she even dropped Pandya as her surname from her social media profile. After the news of their divorce was announced, the cricketer’s fans took to social media to troll Natasa. While some wished Hardik good luck, others blamed Natasa for the split. “Pandya deserves better,” one user wrote on Natasa’s earlier social media post, while another said, “She left Hardik Pandya in his bad times.” While both Hardik and Natasa have cited the reason for their divorce, it is unfair to only blame the woman in their case.

Natasa Stankovic is a Serbian dancer and model. It was in 2012 when Natasa moved to Mumbai, India to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. She made her acting debut in Prakash Jha’s film ‘Satyagraha’ which was released in 2013. A year later, she participated in the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss Season 8’ wherein she stayed inside the house for roughly a month. In 2018, she did a cameo in the film ‘Zero’, and in 2019 she was featured in the web series titled ‘The Holiday by Zoom Studios’. The same year, she also participated in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 9’, along with her then-boyfriend Aly Goni. However, the duo parted ways after the show. She also featured in DJ Badshah’s song ‘DJ Wale Babu’ which was a hit among viewers.

Natasa and Agastya are currently in Serbia and the model-actress keeps posting about her son on her Instagram stories. She also posted short clips of herself, spending time at home, at a farm with her son or exercising.
