Renowned American-Pakistani actress, songwriter, and former supermodel Aamina Sheikh recently shared insights about her career and personal life, emphasizing that she made all her life decisions wisely, during a podcast interview.

During the interview, Sheikh discussed her journey in showbiz, her private life, and her move from Pakistan to Dubai. She highlighted the differences between modelling and acting, noting that modelling demands a glamorous image while acting does not, making it easier to build a career in acting.

“I understood the distinction between acting and modelling and advanced both careers simultaneously, which minimized difficulties,” she said.

Reflecting on her career, Aamina mentioned that she starred in the drama ‘Pakeeza’ after her daughter’s birth. Despite her daughter’s young age, she chose to step back from showbiz to focus on her upbringing.

“Motherhood changes priorities and increases responsibilities. I prioritized my daughter’s upbringing over my career,” Sheikh explained.

She acknowledged facing numerous challenges but tackled them with wisdom. Deciding that her daughter was her top priority, Sheikh moved to Dubai, where she later welcomed her second child. She expressed satisfaction with her choices and the support from her parents.

“I chose to start a new life and rebuild my family according to my wishes, which is why I have no regrets about any decision,” she added.
