The Shukla Paksha Ekadashi in the month of Ashadha is also known as Devshayani Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu falls asleep on this day and wakes up four months later on Prabodhini Ekadashi. Devshayani Ekadashi happens right after the Jagannath Rathyatra. Before beginning their daily rituals, people should carefully examine the tithi and auspicious or inauspicious hours.
