Gary Kirsten joins Pakistan team in Leeds ahead of…
Pakistan men’s team white-ball head coach Gary Kirsten has joined the team in Leeds for the four-match T20I series against England.
The team management and captain Babar Azam welcomed the South African. Senior manager Wahab Riaz presented the team’s training shirt to him.
Pakistan team will practice from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM local time on May 20 while the final training session on Tuesday before the first T20I will held from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The first T20I between Pakistan and England will be played at Headingley, Leeds on May 22.
The T20I series would be of significant importance for both teams as just two days after its conclusion, the World Cup will begin in the United States.
Pakistan are in Group A of the World Cup alongside arch-rivals India, Ireland, Canada and the USA. Meanwhile, England are slotted in Group B with Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman.
