Gold prices in Pakistan surge to all-time high |…
Gold prices in Pakistan soared to a record high on Friday, reflecting a global surge in the commodity’s value driven by increasing demand.
The price of gold per tola in Pakistan rose by Rs2,400, reaching an unprecedented level of Rs257,300.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold also saw a significant increase of Rs2,057, settling at Rs220,593.
The international bullion market witnessed a similar trend, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $26 to hit $2,458, the highest on record.
This rise in global gold prices can be attributed to heightened demand amid economic uncertainties and market volatility.
A day earlier, the gold price per tola in Pakistan was recorded at Rs254,900 after a gain of Rs1,400, while the price for 10 grams was Rs218,536.
Experts believe that the surge in gold prices reflects the ongoing economic conditions, which have driven investors towards the precious metal as a safe-haven asset.
