Adding a ray of sunshine to the gloomy Mumbai weather, style icon Malaika Arora stepped out in a yellow ensemble designed by renowned fashion designer duo, Gauri and Nainika. Looking comfortably chic in the outfit she was styled in, Malaika was all smiles at the award function she attended.
Malaika’s rich yellow outfit of the day was from the designer duo’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection which they showcased at Lakme Fashion Week 2024. The fit consisted of a bandeau top with straps and voluminous floor length skirt with side pockets. The top was further enhanced with crystal and pearl embroidery.
Post the event, Malaika took to Instagram and shared a Behind the scenes video of her getting ready for the event. “Golden vibes, natural highs. Behind the scenes in a yellow dream!”, expressed Malaika in the caption, on Instagram.
Adding opulence to Malaika’s sparkling personality were the statement pieces from Isharya high jewellery. Malaika adorned the art deco inspired emerald pearl necklace and rich green stone studs from Isharya’s new collection. Crafted with precision, the collar design neckwear is complemented by a pearl centrepiece and dark emerald stones. The stud earrings add a touch of glamour and will elevate your style on any occasion.
Malaika was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Aastha Sharma, along with Reann Moradian. Malaika’s cascading soft wavy hair was styled by Yash. The flawless makeup consisting of Malaika’s favourite sun-kissed, tinted cheeks was done by makeup artist Eleni Chatzinikolidou. Capturing the many moods of Malaika in a series of stunning images was photographer Onkar Naik.
This is the second time in 2024 Malaika Arora has rocked a yellow Gauri and Nainika gown in her style journey. At an award show in Mumbai, Malaika was styled in a fire-yellow duchess satin corset gown. The halter neck and black rose motif detailing on the ensemble added a glamorous touch to Malaika’s style.
The shade of yellow is a perfect look not just for an event but also can be styled as a fun holiday look. Like Malaika said, “Golden vibes”. So dream on and give the bright hue a moment under the sun to shine.
