This entire month is considered very auspicious among the Hindus. He mentioned that according to astrology, the month of Ashwin begins when the Moon comes between Taurus and Gemini. Many important fasts and festivals will be commemorated during this month. Notably, the auspicious occasion of Pitru Paksha also falls on this month after which the Devi Paksha will start.
